Title: Quickdraw's Kurak Alliance and Mercenary Thread

This will be a place that I will post pictures of my Kurak Alliance ships.
First post will be a completed Makalu squadron (finally getting to these, after they announce the new sculpts...) After this I'll work on my languishing Ryushi.

Wow...these are some really visually striking models  8). The color combo along with the metallic bits really work great on these ships. Great job!

I agree. Very clean lines. And the metallic color works well with the main hull color. Are we going to see these on the table next Saturday?

I haven't finalized my list yet, but possibly.

I love what you've done with the models (though i'll have to admit, a like of the Terquai is one of the many things that drew me to the aquans). As many have said, the metal with the blue looks killer. I will certainly taking inspiration from these when i finally get some Terquai of my own (and ya know, actually start playing FSA).

Thanks! That blue is a great color, I like to think the color combination gives them a pulp Egyptian look.
These colors will probably look great on the new Terquai models also.

It's been quite awhile since I worked on any Firestorm stuff. I've had these Oroshan cruisers for over a year, I just haven't gotten around to painting them. I've only played with them a couple times, I had originally purchased them to run as hard hitting allies for my Ryushi.
Unfortunately the casting on these models wasn't great and they're full of bubbles, and a couple of them have deformed forward guns, but they still look fine.

Very nice! The color choice makes them look very alien. Did you use a green wash over the whole model?

It's a green glaze over bright silver. I used the citadel Waywatcher Green.

Thanks a lot! I've had this idea in my head since I bought them. It really turned out like I was hoping it would.
