A new naval game started a KS campaign today!

Watch the gameplay video when you have some time; there are some interesting mechanics at play with the D6 system they are using. This is really tempting! Not sure if I'll be able to stay away from this one  8).

Some interesting mechanics, but I have to say the ship designs look a little bland compared to what else is on the market. But you know me, ship design/aesthetics are always more interesting to me than rules.  :D

Yeah, the ship designs are a tad generic. I'd be sorely tempted to substitute different minis for the game! The good news is that the size of the models appear to be roughly comparable with Firestorm Armada minis.

True, that's a good point. The ships from Ravenstar Studios might work too.
