Title: Glue
Post by: Syroc on July 09, 2012, 12:06:40 pm
So, I have recently decided in invest in the Covenant of Antartica and it appears that some of the pieces are in fact in pieces. So, the question I have is what should I use to keep the pieces together without ruining the model? Is crazy glue acceptable?

I like loctites easy control superglue. Idk about CoA but i have heard of people using mags on the turrets/ special weapons on FSA.

So I tried to post about this earlier but my response got lost...sorry if this is a double post!

I know the OP is a little old but I was just going to add: I recently started DW with Russians, and for both the resin and pewter I have had a good experience using thin super glues.

I have used both GW's super glue thin and $2-at-Walmart generic superglue, and both have worked fine holding the pieces together.  Not sure about crazy glue, though.

Crazy glue would work OK, I would imagine. It is all CA, after all! The biggest difference is not so much the bond, I figure, but the glue's consistency and/or its working time.
