The first wave of my UCM fleet is finished! This batch includes an Atlantis class battlecruiser, an Avalon class battlecruiser, a Moscow heavy cruiser, a Berlin class cruiser, and a Seattle fleet carrier, backed up by 4 New Orleans strike carriers and two Toulon class frigates.

This was my attempt to re-create the engine glow from the studio models:

This was all of the capital ships I got from my Kickstarter pledge, as well as a decent chunk of the frigate-sized ships. I'm not sure yet where I'll go from here as far as fleet expansions go; I'm going to wait until after I play in the event on Saturday to decide. Thanks for looking!

Looking good Ruck. Man, I like the design of the UCM ships. Very cool spaceship design.
I think you nailed the engine glow, by the way.
Can you post some pics with some Firestorm Armada or Halo ships so we can see the size comparison?

Agreed, great job on the ships and the glow is well done. Good luck!

Looks fantastic. How did you do the engine glow?

It was pretty straight forward, really. I used a medium blue as the base, then used a light blue (GW Ice Blue, to be specific) layerd over the top. I kept it thin so some of the darker blue wold show through, and also tried to keep some of the darker blue around the edges. I think finished it off with a small dot of white paint in the middle of the engine.
