On Dakka Dakka, the Dead Earth Games team poste dup about an upcoming Kickstarter for a fantasy naval game.

Top is Elves and the bottom is Dwarfs.  The game scale is 1:600 or so.

They aren't terrible, I think. They do have a "retro" look to them, in that the level of detail makes them look like something we would have seen 20-25 years ago. I think they are going to have steep competition from KoW: Armada.

The big question of the designs I've seen is whether they would look better waterlined.

That is a major problem with the Dwarf vessels. They look as if they are in drydock

Looks like they are addressing that in the KS, by giving folks who get the STL files the option to have lower in the water versions of the ships:
