I like the gold details on the prows a lot! The Dictator's classic green scheme is well done too. It's a little tough to tell in the pics, but are the Dictator's weapons painted in a spot color? I always found that enhanced the looks of my IN ships quite a bit.
-
They are spotted in silver. I am considering hitting the edges of the launch bays in gold to make them stand out a bit more, but most likely will leave that for my Emperor.
-
I did the yellow/black caution strip on my escort carrier and have been thinking about transferring the look to my warships as I redo them.

Yeah, I've seen the caution chevrons before (it was on a Gothicomp entry if I remember right), and they are certainly neat looking! I think the gold might look better on the green scheme though.
Nice looking CVE, by the way! I'd love some more pics and a description of how you made it if you have time.

(http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2012/4/16/354049_md-Battlefleet%20Gothic.jpg)The latest addition to my fleet is my Dominator Class Cruiser. In the background are two WIP pieces, My Armageddon Class Battlecruiser, and my Apocalypse Class Battleship.

What is the scale of this compared to a Sword? Same size or smaller? And please do a tutorial on how you did it, I would love to try my hand at one.
-
Its slightly shorter but much more rotund. I actually stumbled upon the idea when I got some of my work stuff mixed in with painting stuff on my desk ::) and I thought these looked to be about the right size for what I thought a freighter should be.

These are a couple shots I took with a Cobra and Firestorm for scale. I actually have a pile of different styles of these I've been collecting to make some more transports with (including a few that are about light cruiser sized :)). Ill put a couple together and try to get them posted for you later this week (work permitting ::))
-
Thank you sir. Looking forward
-
hmm... the caution stripes on the launch bays are a pretty cool idea. and the rest of your vessels are great as well ;D
-
Thanks for that. I wanted a gritty cheap look to the transports so I tried to avoid anything remotely metallic looking with exceptions to the prow gun barrel, part of the antenna, and the engines. That left out the traditional option for these which is to paint the banding gold or silver. The idea behind the caution strip was that the pilots for these vessels are not Navy and are pretty poorly trained so the owners are going to try and do everything they can to keep their ship from getting messed up :D. I posted that write up on these here (http://www.manbattlestations.com/forum/index.php?topic=84.0).

Nice. I like the escort carrier based on a merchant, like they did in wet navies
-
Very cool escort carrier (as noted by others)! Good use of those extra pieces, and it looks to fit in very well size-wise.
I also really liked the planetary base you did on the Dominator Class cruiser. Was it just a sticker on the underside, or did you paint it somehow?
There is a lot of variance in your fleet! But I am always happy to see some BFG. We still blog about it sometimes on my blog.
