Anyone ever see these minis in person or play the game?

A bunch of the minis are on sale/clearance at FRP games.

Also if you google "Quantum Expanse Minis" and click on images, there are some painted ships to check out. ;)

Nice!
So to amplify my earlier post (sorry if I came off a bit brusque:)), the game is pretty neat, and the minis are nice, but a bit flat. This is due to the fact that they were designed to be used without flying stands if desired.

LoL! I looked through the forums and missed it. Thanks for the heads up! I think I'm gonna grab a few and see how I like them. There goes my "no new games" rule. I made it about five weeks into 2015!

Did you get around to painting any of yours Ruck?

No, not yet. My master plan is to use these guys to practice some airbrushing techniques I've been wanting to try. The good news is that the minis are generic enough that you can use them for multiple different rule sets. Have you seen the company's YouTube channel? They have some gameplay videos posted:

I'll have to check them out. I cleaned FRP out of a lot of them. Uhg...

Just a little closer to your goal of owning All The Resin. ;)

And farther from my goal of a new car. Or retirement.

He hee, at least you can build a nice retirement home with the packaging from all those minis ;).
I think you will be pleased with your purchase; the minis are quite nice. I would put them somewhere between the Firestorm Armada 1.0 and 2.0 ships as far as detail goes. The casting quality on the ones I got was top notch, too.

Mark, maybe we could use those ships as a different faction in Firestorm? Proxy them in for marauders, or even use them as civilian ships?

Well, I wish you would have said something like that a few years ago. All of those boxes and blisters have been sent to the gods of recycling. What other ideas might you have for me? :O)

Totally. One of these days we'll use some real simple rules (Full Thrust perhaps) and everyone can bring any of their favorite minis from any line and have a good old fashioned slugfest with them!

That sounds interesting. Dibs on BSG Colonials! :)

Hey wait a minute. Those things have massive rail guns and lots of torpedoes...and nukes...

...And fighters....LOTS of fighters. ;)

Minis arrived safe and sound, not too bad at all. Not nearly as detailed as some of the Spartan stuff, but I like them, and some of the designs are really really sweet. I'll post some pics of them when they're painted, probably around Octember 32, 2027.
