Excellent tutorial! You have gotten some very impressive results with this technique. I'm curious; have you tried something similar on a blue-painted base? It seems like your method would work fairly well that way, too.

It's a very simple system, the effect is great though. It really looks great on the clear acrylic base.
You're Imperial Human ship really makes me want to pick up a small fleet and paint them up. It's very impressive.

+1. Thanks for the tutorial and for showing how it looks on the tabletop. With the right kind of mat underneath the ships, that effect really pops.

I agree with you Quickdraw...but I'm drowning in unpainted resin as it is.
