May the Fourth Be With You!

So, how are you guys celebrating? Since I'm on leave, I'm watching all 6 movies in sequence  ;D.

Have you ever tried watching them in so-called "Machete Order?"

Have you ever tried watching them in so-called "Machete Order?"

You can't just say that and not explain it!  :D

To me, "machete order" would be chopping off the prequels and only watching the original trilogy...

Alas, I had to work today, but I did text this picture to everyone I knew who would appreciate it and wished them a Happy Star Wars Day:

Love that picture.

Ha!  Sorry - I didn't know what "Machete order" was, either, until fairly recently.  It comes from some blogger's site that has Machete in the title of it I guess, hence the name.  But basically you watch in the following order:

Episode IV - A New Hope
Episode V - Empire Strikes Back
Episode II - Attack of the Clones
Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Episode VI - Return of the Jedi
(Note: Do not watch episode I)

Patton Oswalt has a good explanation of it here:
