You can always house rule that stuff for friendly games,  I for one have no issue with that add long as of course they are fair

How did it go?   I recieved my core helixes Friday, pre ordered heavy helixes and the tac cards.   Hopefully I can get my core helixes painted before those arrive.

My stuff shipped from the warstore Saturday so I'll probably see it end of this week.   Unfortunately I realized I work Saturday night and need to get some sleep so I probably wont be able to attend demo day.   It'll giblets me some time to assemble and paint and maybe I'll see if I can put something together beginning of January

Hey all, I received my planetfall rulebook a couple of weeks ago!  I've been pretty busy so haven't had time to dig in as of yet but I'm trying to find out if there's any interest in playing the game?  I know the core helixes don't release until this month but I'm thinking of picking up a couple of factions - mainly Soryllian and Terran, or Rhelthoza.  Unfortunately I'm not interested in the races in the starter box otherwise that'd be a good route to go.  I can't tell how fast they're going to release minis - I imagine you'd need more than a core helix or two to get a good game going so hopefully we see something and of the month as well.  I'll expand as fast as I can and I'd be interested in playing or demoing games for anyone interested.

Haha I think I threw up a little in my mouth at the cost of that mat!   It does look nice but I'll Prob look for a cheaper option myself!

Fleets look awesome!  Hopefully I can bring my Payne sorylian to the next game!

Haha,  I sympathize.  I'm actually trying to move over and focus most of my limited gaming on spartan games these days so I don't mind jumping in to planetfall. I'll Prob collect both my factions from firestorm in case anyone wants a demo

Sucks I missed this!   Great write up,  Did you post it on the spartan forums as well?   That space mat is gorgeous, where did you get it?

Also nice to see most of not all the models painted!   My fleets about 90% there,  should be 100% painted by this weekend!

Haha, I don't mind leading the charge on planetfall, though like I said until soryllians or relthoza come out I won't have an army!

I know spartan has said they will be tied together in campaigns - I expect to see campaign books similar to what they have been doing for DW down the road.  They've also stated it's supposed to link up well with their 28mm game related to both FS:A and planetfall!  Frankly I'm a little excited to see both my fav races in 28mm!
