The old Spartan games was my favorite, even if GW was my first into the genre. That being said I only got in two or three games in this year of naval games. My original opponents in the area have moved off so I no longer get to play much. So if possible I would love to get him started up again but that's the bad part of being in a small town in Texas.

Hello all I'm in Lufkin Texas but can and do drive to Tyler and Houston. I have firestorm Armada and dystopian Wars and still have some X-Wing 1.0, and other games not related

It is a nice thing to make use of for campaign games. But the lack of rules to tie them together means it really doesn't matter.

This is so sad now that I was getting back into Firestorm and had been thinking of getting into dystopian wars. No more large ship battles for me for awhile by the looks of it.

Is there a game out there that us based around the mid 1800? Been in an American civil war mode since seeing some mdf models of ironclad on Blackops web site. I have always liked them since I was a kid and my step dad was a big civil war buff.

I enjoyed this episode and learned much over how the different class of ships came about. I have always loved the idea of ships but not ever been on any besides tours. And found that I was not really built for most of them being 6'3" and over 350#. I found the ships a little tight for me lol.

I have always liked the history of the civil war and the inventions that came from it. Also it falls in really close to the steampunk style of games. Though I like the age of sail ships do to what it takes to really sail one and the hardships that came with it, no real technology. I will have to admit thst i have not ever been on more than a small boat, bass boat, thou i have toured the U.S.S. Texas and the seen the older woid ship that was down in Galveston,Tx. And i like the idea of the old viking longships.

Well I have found the one thing about MBS forums I dislike.i can not post my pictures of my WIP or even finished work. I have tried many times this week and I get the same error message file to large. I have reset my phones camera to the lowest settings and still says to big. So now I'm done ranting over it

I just finished episode 17 and found the talk about the movies interested and I had heard of battle ship but not seen it now I want to. And the only problem I have is listening to you guys talk about new games (or new to me) and knowing that in my area of gamers there is only a few miniature players and most of them are 40k or x-wing. But I'm trying to increase the naval gaming in my area. Looking forward to next month's podcast, by which time I will be completely caught up on the podcast.

Firestorm Armada / What to get next for the Sorylian

I have just recently split the taskforce box of Sorylian Collective and Relthoza, to get someone into playing. I was wondering what I should look at getting to flush out the Sorylian with. I know I will be getting the patrol box, what else should I look at for them. I play Terran and Dindrenzi. I enjoy the the Dindrenzi more than the Terran if that helps with suggestions.
