Just got round to purchasing some freighters from Brigade, so I'll get them painted up and give the scenario a crack with some of the suggested rules - I rather fancy a 'commerce raider' type mission!

I'll make sure to take some pics - (Maybe even an AAR) and get them posted.

Firestorm Armada / Directorate Heavy Cruiser(s) in Patrol Fleets.

Mayhap this has been answered elsewhere, but here goes - In the directorate patrol fleet in the T1 choices it states 'Heavy Cruiser' in the Singular. No other fleet list does so, and it would seem to fit with the way single Large Capitals are mentioned in the fleet list... Or is the word 'squadron' simply missing in error?

I haven't played a game yet, so take this with a pinch of salt, but Litko do a 8" ruler with a 45 degree slant at one end. You measure your distance to the turn, apply the template, wit the slanted end toward the base,so that it points 8" away at 45 degrees, then move the desired distance along it, and reapply, I can't think of anything quicker without using a hex grid and hex bases.

I feel like we are looking to change something in the rules which works fine, but just has a ridiculously oversized template... Just change the template!

Spartan did make some old Freighter/passenger ships. And they were making some for release with odd sales/preorders et.

So here's the question(s).

A) Are there any stats for Freighter models.
B) Are there any scenarios using them
C) How big are were the freighter models?
