Star Wars Armada Wave 2 is Here!

After months of delays, the second wave of Star Wars Armada is finally shipping! I got my stuff yesterday. As soon as I can get it out of the box, I'll post some pictures and impressions on the blog.

I probably won't get into this game, but the models do look pretty good. I especially like Home I. I feel like a lot of the capital ships in Star Wars get overshadowed by the Star Destroyers...I tend to forget there were other ships in the movies.

Any word on a Wave 3?  Maybe Spartan has spoiled me, but I'd really want to see more variety in the fleets before buying in.  Maybe a Clone Wars expansion?

No word  yet on Wave 3, unfortunately. I've seen a lot of speculation, but my money is that it will either be Episode VII stuff, Star Wars Rebels stuff, or a mix of the two. For some reason, FFG seems to be dead-set against doing Prequel stuff for their SW games.

Probably to avoid association with the previous game, which had a lot of the prequel ships.  Pity though, since they're really limited with just what's seen in episodes 4-7.
