The Mondo division of the Empire of the Blazing Sun reports

Whilst on a patrol a small force of EotBS frigates spotted a slightly larger force of FSA unawares. Calling in a nearby Ika, the Empire ships managed to Ambush the unwary Americans and annihilate them, showing them the hazards of sailing too far from home.

After a refit and repair, the frigates continued their patrol in more southerly waters, and spotted a CoA force. Communications with HQ requested a reconaissance of the CoA force, so the frigates moved in to perform the mission. Once again they managed to bring a nearby Ika into the conflict and once, again, they destroyed the entire enemy force.

Gathered intelligence suggested that a larger element of FSA naval forces were in the area, possibly searching for the destroyed squadrons from the earlier Ambush. An EotBS task force was sent to meet them and, if possible, to eliminate the Independence class Battleship known to be in the fleet.
