Quarantine Project
« on: April 13, 2021, 09:54:59 pm »
Some pics of my Deep Wars project over quarantine.

I was struggling to find a carry case that wouldn't destroy the models for that day when we can play again, and I settled on crystal fortress.  I wouldn't put it in my checked luggage to Adepticon or anything, but the kit for magnetizing the models into the case works well for keeping them relatively stable and well protected.  Also displays them nicely.  Now I just need to wait for the carry straps to come back into stock.

Great job on the painting!  The color palette is striking, and the models look almost bioluminescent.
If my wife asks, I only spent half as much as I wanted to...

Thanks!  The armor on the Ancients is actually a color-shift paint so they look like they have and oily sheen.

Looking great!

Not a game that has caught on here at all, but it seems like a fun one.

Spectacular work! Another game that has failed to catch the local imagination, and for the life of me I can't see why - visually stunning.
