Another question- Does CAP combine CounterAttack Ack Ack with its associated models?
How about escorts?
From what I can find TFTs flying CAP do not combine Counter attack ack ack with the parent model. However if within four inches of the attacking TFTs they exchange simultaneous ACK ACK. This happens AFTER the parent model and any escorts within 8 inches of the attacking TFTs have done their ack ack counter-attack. Can someone check the spot (s) in the 1.1 rulebook where CAP is used in defending, mostly on pages 56 and 57, but also the Activation Sequence on page 46. The sequence on page 46 (models shoot ack ack at TFTs first) and the paragragh "Tiny Flyers" on page 57 seem out of Sync. Also, the sequence on page 56 seems to be incomplete- 3a. should include "Not against Tiny flyer"
What I can figure out--
TFT to TFT ack ack is always simultaneous.
(Surface?) Model ack ack is resolved separately against flying models and TFTs and before and ordnance attacks from flyers/TFT (loses, hits affect the AD).
TFT and Flying models ack ack attack/counterattacks are resolved simultaneously. (so DIFFERENT than above but still before any ordnance attacks- like bombing a large flyer)
CAP attacks/counterattacks separately from the parent model.
Escorts become part of the large/massive unit's squadron and therefore can link AA like other squadrons- I can't find anything that says it can combine ack ack with the the parent. However I am happy if it is to be found.
