DW Creep into the Real World?

Interesting article! I digged the Ghost in the Shell reference in the article ;). Legged vehicles like this are rapidly becoming a thing. The US has been working on a small one to help troops lug gear around in hilly terrain:

Also, powered exoskeletons are starting to reach a stage of development where they  might actually be praticle for use on a battlefield. Pretty crazy stuff!
