Just put together a brief write-up for a recent game I played with my fried Seth:

Very nice Ruck. Would like to have seen more pictures though!

This game looked very promising, but I don't think ANYONE at my FLGS is playing it, even though they did carry the pieces for some time. I would get into it, but right now I'm waiting for the Halo miniatures game to drop.

Looking forward to seeing more pics and hearing more of your thoughts on the game. Sounds very detailed!

Yeah, sorry for the lack of pictures; we were playing outside, and the sun was casting a lot of shadows that made the pictures not come out so good!

The game itself is a lot of fun, but it does seem to have gotten lost in the larger shuffle of miniatures games. There have been some supply and quality control issues that they spent the better part of last year working through, as well. However, thanks to the fact that it was a VERY successful KS, though, the company that made it (Ares Games) has plenty of incentive to keep producing product for it.

I will try to work on some more articles for this game in the not too distant future; one of the things I'm looking at doing is playing a few solitaire games (against anchored ships or shore batteries) to better acquaint myself with the rules and get some practice at driving ships around!
