Campaign Continuation Poll

Hi all! It's been about two months it seems since the last game was reported for this campaign. Do we want to keep going with this one, or end it and start organizing for the next one?

This campaign was a great idea and a lot of fun, but it was too difficult to arrange matches. With nearly all of my opponents living in Australia i wasn't able to schedule matches fr nearly two months. The pickup game thread was unreliable as well because unless you check the forum every hour you'll likely miss the window during which folks are available.

I'd love to try again, but we really would be well served by having some form of instant messaging app. That would be easy to set up by making a facebook group.

I'm about to launch a campaign locally as it happens.

I'd like to keep it going myself but agree with GSL that Instant messenger or something like that is the way forward

Interesting...out of curiosity, what was preventing you from using some sort of IM service already? I have no problem with you guys using whatever means you feel is best to coordinate games! All I ask is that the results of games and the status of your fleet lists are updated here on the forums .

Yeah an instant messaging would be good. Maybe either a whatsapp group or FB messenger group could work better. Could instant message for games then and we would all be able to see when people are available.

Also anyone new could be added later.
