Model kits

Can anyone recommend a good manufacturer of ship model kits, particularly age of sail, I'm having a lot of trouble finding kits online?

Looks like no one else has replied, so I'll take a stab!

I know that GHQ's age of sail models are well regarded for detail, but they are expensive to begin with and I'm sure that they will be even more so with shipping to Australia. They are in 1:1200 scale:

The Sails of Glory line might be a decent alternative; somewhat less detail than the GHQ offerings, but hey, they are plastic and pre-painted. They are 1/1200 as well, IIRC:

Thanks Ruckdog, but I should have been more specific, I'm looking for something bigger than that, roughly 12".  I don't know what the scale would be for an AoS ship, in a WWII ship it would be around 1:900 I think.  Something for decoration rather than gaming.

In that case, have you looked at the Blood & Plunder ships? They are "true" 28mm, which might make them a bit small, but worth a look:

There used to be a website that had a list of pretty much all ship models and had a brief review of them. Found it, link below. Old now but still useful for older kits.

The only ship kits I have bought recently have been with wargaming in mind. The Zvezda cog (kogge), also boxed by Italeri, is quite nice but the Heller Santa Maria, Nina and Pinta are not, though adequate for my purposes. The Heller and Smer longships are abominations but the Revell and Emhar ones are good.
