I saw that get posted on the FB naval Wargaming group! Neat idea, really, though I find the "floating" islands oddly disconcerting

Someone did this on their blog for modern submarine warfare (off the Norweigan coast I think) with the lower level for the submarine stands and the upper level for the surface ships. NWS did an alternative approach for attacking the Tirpitz.
