Very interesting! Thanks for the heads-up. I have some of PSC's 10mm World War II stuff (ie, Flames of War), and I thought it was of fantastic quality and value.

Here is the pertinent info from the PSC Facebook post:

Quote
Richard Borg heads into Space in this exciting new Commands & Colours board game, Red Alert! – including two complete fleets of plastic starships (92 models)!

In case you are wondering, yes, the playing mat is BIG! It's made of a crease-resistant fabric approximately 130 x 100 cm!

That's a lot of plastic ships! It's hard to tell, but it looks like they will be a bit smaller than those used in, say, DFC or FSA. I'm guessing they will be about the size of the ones used in the Fleet Commander Genesis game.

And funded too! That was fast  8)

Seriously thinking of pledging for this one.

There is a draft rule book available for those who are curious:

Looks pretty cool. Will have to give the rules a read-through. That certainly is a LOT of ships! Wish we could get some close-ups of what they look like.

Big news today! Instead of having two sides of identical ships, PSC is now doing the main game with two different sets of models:
