"Today we took delivery of our first squadron of Tetsubo small flyers.  They still need to be painted in the Division Colors, and the crews need time to learn the controls in the air around our floating naval base, but the Kaigun Shoshol expects they will be ready for duty by the end of the week and has already formed plans to dispatch an All Air Fleet to run reconnaissance to the southeast of our current location where Covenant ships have been suspected to be operating in open seas and around, what the Americans call, Johnston Atoll.

"Of course, we still need to observe the formal christening ceremony, and as soon as the paint is dry the trio of Tetsubo flyers will receive the blessing of the Sun Goddess by our official Shinto priest.  I must remember to have our fleet procurement officer to acquire an albatross for the blood necessary for the event."

Met Ruckdog with his French at the GV to play a series of three Recon games for the DWVA Autumn X-Cam.

1st game:  Recon, naval forces, BS force as challenger, French as winner.  (Maddrb:  5 Recon Points; Ruckdog:  12 Recon Points)
2nd game:  Meeting Engagement, aerial forces, French as winner.  (Maddrb:  3 RP; Ruckdog:  9 RP)
3rd game:  Meeting Engagement, naval forces, Blazing Sun as winner.  (Maddrb:  12 RP; Ruckdog:  6 RP)
