The more I look at this fleet, the more I like it. I'm digging the BB's double decker turrets; these were actually tried IRL one a couple of classes of US battleships, though they couldn't turn independently like these apparently can. I also like the antiquated look of the bombers; tri-planes for the win!

I agree - both those characteristics you mentioned are pretty awesome.  I am a big fan of the cranes for some reason.  I have....not very good feelings about the destroyers though, but the way the carrier is asymmetrical is cool to me.

There was some discussion on the Spartan forum about adding torpedo boats and putting them on tokens like the tiny flyers, and I'm especially pleased to see this actually developed.  I've been more partial to pre-dreadnought era than WWII era naval wargaming, so since the start of DW I've wanted to see the tiny flyer tokens replaced by torpedo boats.

I remember that discussion too! Although, torpedo boats were used extensively during WW II as well, by the US, British, German, and Italian navies.
