3d Printed Victory-class Star Destroyer
« on: June 25, 2023, 11:59:22 am »
I've 3D printed my next project! It's a Victory class Star Destroyer for Star Wars Armada. I'm planning to paint it up in Galactic Republic colors to take advantage of the rapid reinforcements Print&Play material from Atomic Mass Games.

The STL is from Onil Creations: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1014014910/vsd1-pre-supported

I'm very impressed with the quality of the detail, and the supports were spot-on. It printed cleanly on the first attempt!

Looking good so far, will you be using regular Armada stands or printing new ones?
If my wife asks, I only spent half as much as I wanted to...

I actually did print a base, more as a proof of concept than anything else. I will probably be able to use an extra official base from my collection, but I wanted to see how a printed one would do. The print is done, but I still need to prep and paint it.

Nice!  Way better than my humble printer could do.
