Date for the next DWVA tournament

These dates would all work for me to organize and host another tournament at the Game Vault following a more standardized format (tables remain the same throughout the event, players are matched to opponents and to tables, players roll for field orders to determine victory conditions, cut & dried).

The registration fee would only be $5 and the prizes would break down according to the standard format the GV uses for other tournaments: 1st place, 50% collected fees in store credit; 2nd place, 30% credit; 3rd place, 20% credit.  And nice certificates for the Garbage Scow Captain and best painted fleet.

Sept 9th works great for me. I'll be sticking with my French for now.

 I should also be able to get a friend who works in a print shop to print some more DW flag stickers to offer as prize support(best of faction?). They're about 5"x8"and I use the KoB and RoF stickers on my carrying case. Should be able to get the new Russian flag as well. Let me know if you think there'd be interest in these.

I'm inspired a bit by Historicon and wonder if we should try to make a Dystopian Wars weekend, maybe get some players up from as far away as Norfolk, Baltimore, etc?

Also, I'm exchanging email with an employee of A-Game in Richmond, talking about planning a DW tournament down there.  But I have no idea what the store is like and what capacities it has.  The Game Vault has the space, and we could also talk to Cathy about doing a lock-in and gaming throughout the night.  Just an idea.

That weekend doesn't work for me--will be getting back from vacation that weekend.  But honestly, my weekends in September and October are up in the air due to my upcoming move, so don't plan around me.  Pick a date, and I'll make it if I can.  Still planning to send you some ideas for certificates, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

All right, I'm planning a tournament for the 9th, but this one will be down in Richmond.  The date for the next tournament at the Game Vault is looking to be September 30th, also a Sunday.
