Hey, Sailion on deck! um.. wasnt sure if should start a blog to help me get throught pile of ships got to paint.. play too much video/pc games to be honest, heh..

So thought share what been up too, motivation permiting as since finding a local club to play and with firestorm/dystopian was mission announced by spartan been wanting to get into playing either of them again and get round to putting halo models on the table. Wanted tabletop model of halo for years, ever since played Halo 2 and Halo combat evolved.

Here is some a few pictures of my Directorate conversion, and some Kurak ships that sprayed painted. Thinking of updating colour scheme but unsure how to paint naval camo.

Whoa that Battlestar is big! Very cool model.
The extra fans on the Polish ships look really good. That's one of my favorite features of the Polish ships.
And last I have a question...
The french cruiser/merchant ship you've done, is the hull structure one of the parts from the St Malo battleship?

Thanks Quickdraw, Yes its quite big bought it as liked ship hull and to use a replacement terran dreadnought.. think its little too big, heh. Um, true i like themes you see with similar hulls and as used to play orks for 40k i cant help but want to make new ships now and then. ^^

Yeah, like Polish and lithiaun fleet as its all Gne and looks awesome with extra fans. Yes its a Saint milo hull part with a bridge and turret, quite easy to make. Also got some parts to make armed sturgium tankers too.

Guess could paint some french or maybe repaint them idk? hmm.

Little bit of an update, actually pulled out parts and finished my Armed French convoy ships. ^_^

This is more a general update of what been doing since last posted, joined dystopain wars kickstarter.. though could only do captain as much as liked look of top pledge, had to help mum with car repairs and such that month *nods* xD.

My New Years Resolution:
"To try and go to club more and get my model fleets painted.

Well see, heh."

Um.. i get anxiety you see and generally really quiet, do like playing game if can get one. Just wondering if trying to do blog or something help push me to paint throught huge pile of resin that got. ^_^

Other things:
Naval themed gifts? as asked on episode 14 of Manbattlestations podcast? well.. stepdad got me a owners workshop manual for Millennium Falcon, got a few startrek attackwing and xwings ships off a friend, my auntie got me a Phr battleship and got this in the post day before christmas!~





Its my Dropfleet kickstarter Liutentant pledge with boat load of extras, i went in on this because a friend did and liked look of Phr and Scourge.. Battle gothic referances help too. ^_^

What been up to Naval Ships wise:
Well as mostly had heavy colds and weather was bad oustide, didnt get any painting done as such apart from spray coat on some ships made. Play alot on my pc normally World of warships.. or world of warcraft.


Best game that had in my Derpitz. (Tirpitz, sorry word picked up off my uncle and it stuck xD)


Um.. made and sprayed painted these, yes i like army painter ultramarine blue as a base coat~

That freighter looks really cool. What game will you use it for? Given the size comparison to that Wraith tank...it might be a little big for Firestorm Armada...

Um, plan was use it for terrain for spaces games that play. Currently got Dropfleet, Firestorm armada and Halo.

Quick Update:
Well been a busy with computer games lately and other things, but since kickstarter been really wanting to get back into Dystopian wars and Firestorm Aramada. Really should read the blogs and look at changes to both games.. also sorry been so quiet. >_<

Yeah, been playing world of warships alot. ^^ If want to add me, you can as Sailion on Eu sever, dont have a NA account.. thought its tempting.

Um.. been deciding what should try and paint, but as usual deciding on scheme & motivation is hard for me. Been putting together some UCM for Dropfleet, settled on them as a faction.

Also, bought ticket for FSA tournment at Reading warfare! so really should try and get some games in local area and figure out what to take.. no one plays thought near me and closet clubs are Carlisle and Barrow-in-furness. (Barrow has naval museum ^^)

Also quite happy Dystopian wars rulebook is up for download on backerkit.. so i went to get that to read later tonight. ^^
