Recommendations please

I'm looking for a good set of pre-Dreadnought rules with high detail in terms of combat.

I grew up in the Philadelphia area and so went to see the Olympia many times. And for some reason I'm suddenly really interested in that period of naval combat again.

Any suggestions?

Well, the Fear God & Dread Nought rules from the Admiralty Trilogy can probably be adapted to fit your needs, and they are reputed to be quite detailed. Majestic12 games is also putting out pre-dread expansions for their Grand Fleets game, which is also reasonably detailed.
