Making some progress finally!
For this scheme, I'm using one of Citadel's Contrast Paints, Talassar Blue. The Fresnel in the rear has had Talassar Blue applied over the blue base coat, after I drybrushed it in light grey and white. The one in the foreground has had the drybrushing done, but not yet the Contrast paint applied:
