HA, no worries. Can’t let the RPG gamers have the con to themselves.

I’ll submit the BSG game for 5pm on Friday. Still waiting for confirmation on Halo and Ascendancy;  Ed to see what time slot they give me for Ascendancy before I submit Firefly, but the plan is to run it at 9am on Saturday. I probably won’t run anything on Sunday.

BSG game submitted. The other two now show as “queued for scheduling”, so I guess they’ll show up soon.

I’ve set Halo, Ascendancy, and BSG as “no experience required” and “18+”. Dale, I’ll need your help administering the Ascendancy game, but I should be able to provide all the materials for all the games.

The Firefly scenario will be for players who have some experience with the game, as it will be a custom scenario. I have a pretty good scenario that I ran a few years ago at either Tacticon or Genghiscon. It involves Niska, so it’s a bit...cutthroat.  :D

No problem - we'll have all 5 current races to choose from (not counting on Vulcans or Andorians ...). And if someone really horrible joins the game, we'll drop the Borg in the middle so it ends quickly. ;-) ;D

Sounds like a good plan to make it Experienced only. I'll study up on my rules.

HAAAA, drop the Borg. That's funny.

Ascendancy is now on the schedule!

Firefly game is submitted. Scenario is called "Niska's Hiring". I think it's a pretty solid scenario.

All registered for Badge, and I actually got the Chieftain level. For $35 more, it comes with a mug, t-shirt, and swag bag, plus registration 5 days in advance of general registration.
Chieftain level is also what folks need to get in before Friday night - not sure what the cut-off is, but I figured I'll get in there earlier in the day, spend some time at the vendor area, then join your BSG event

I assume KC is still adding events, since I only saw your Ascendancy event on the current list. Some time to go however - I think Chieftain registration opens up on the 25th.

I'm not going to set up any of my own events - Yours keep me busy Fri-Sat, and Sunday will probably be for DUST or Cthulhu Wars

Cool. Yeah I emailed him yesterday, he said it just takes some time to assign table space, etc. he said not to worry, the games will get on the schedule.

I’m planning to be there around 4. I might need a ride back to my hotel that night after the BSG game if you don’t mind—staying about 5 mins north of the Chapel Hills Mall. Don’t want to strand the wife at the hotel without a car!

Games are now on the schedule, but they slotted the Firefly game at 9pm instead of 9am. I just emailed him and asked if it could be changed.

Not a problem. :-)

While I won't schedule anything formal, I'm definitely prepping the classic DUNE boardgame for play if the opportunity arises. I've been listening to the audiobook for DUNE (while awaiting TIAMAT's WRATH to release) and the new that GF9 will someday reissue the game makes me want to dust off my copy.

Thanks.

GF9 needs to release the Andorians and Vulcans for Ascendancy before they start re-issuing old games. Just sayin’.  :D

It's only been 7 months since they started taking pre-orders at GenCon ... don't rush them ;-)

GF9 still has like 4 DR WHO Supplements to release, and the ALIENS game too...

Frustration is knowing I can finally register for these events, but the sites are all blocked at work... and no cell phone here either.

Registration is open folks! Get seats while they’re available! Dale is a glutton for punishment and has signed up for all four of my events...
