I'll have to bow out.  Forgot that's the weekend after my wedding anniversary.

I guess we all have our lines that we won't cross.

Safety first Stephan.

So, how many other people do we have coming to the game?

I won't make it up, sorry - that's actually the only evening in November that I can get a Planetfall game in with a local who wants a rematch.

It looks like several people won't be able to make it next Saturday.

By my count I have, Quickdraw, Landlubber, and myself. Maybe Mark?

Is there anyone else interested and available?

I am happy to meet anywhere. Collectormania seems like a nice middle ground for Denver and Springs folks. I also like their tables and they have decent scenery.

Thoughts?

I'm up for a Denver meetup next Saturday, yeah. Location doesn't matter to me, whatever is open. Mark, come out and play.

Captain Rockman, would you mind calling the venues to see if they have space for us?

I figure whenever the shop we decide on opens will be best.

Yeah, best to start as soon as the place opens. What are we playing?

I got us a 4x6 table at Collectormania starting at 10 am. There is a Pathfinder event that day, so we may not be able to nab another table for a larger game.

If it is just the three of us we could play 1 on 1 on 1, or something with a scenario. 2 on 1 works fine as well.

I know that both Quickdraw and Landlubber have scenario ideas that could be fun to try, or even just troubleshoot some ideas.

Thoughts?

Collectormania at 10 a.m. on Saturday? Awesome. Thanks for setting that up. Starting at 10 a.m. gives me plenty of time to sink ships and still get home to watch the Arkansas-LSU game (although let's face it, that's going to be a tough uphill slog for my Razorbacks  :-X ).

I'm up for whatever. One 4x6 will probably work. I've played three-way games before, they can be fun, you just have to be careful of where the third player deploys--you don't want that player to be in range of both of the other players right at the beginning.

I'll see if I can get some other folks out to play (read: I'm going to harass Mark until he buckles).

Alright. We are close to last call on this one (obviously it would be great if someone could make it the day of). Are we settling on 1v1v1 or 2v1?

Do either of you have a scenario you want to try out? Quickdraw, there was that reconnaissance scenario with the recon persistent effect markers we thought about in the past. That could even be a 500 pt side game or something.

I'm more leaning towards a big game of 2 vs 1. That way I can try some of my new ships and we can get giant fleets on the table.
It would also be a good opportunity to REALLY solidify some pesky rules questions by getting as much standard playing as we can.

I'm all for that. Are you wanting to be the single player? I'm fine being on my own or a team with anyone.
