I'm in for a scheduled day. I agree with a Sunday, they aren't ever too busy. Collectormania would be a good halfway point.

Scheduled Sunday works for me.  Maybe the 3rd Sunday of the Month?  I also volunteer to host a Deadzone game in the future if anyone wants to check that out.  I let my friend in NM borrow all my Xwing stuff :(

Third Sunday of every month works for me.

That would be the 18th this month. Is it available for anyone with all the Holiday stuff?

I like the idea of playing other games sometimes too. Collectormania is perfect.

I was thinking we could start in the new year, mostly because of the holiday stuff. Also I'd like to hear more people's thoughts (BrdingPrty, MarkyMark, and Stephan all live in this area as well, would like to know how that would work for them) and I'd like to talk to Collectormania as well.

So far, it sounds as if Sundays work best.

Anyone else have input? Anyone else from the Springs crowd?

I can usually do Sundays as long as I don't plan any Saturday stuff that same weekend. (Double gaming is a no-no with the missus)

Bumping this for visibility. Sounds as if most folks would be good with the third Sunday of the month at Collectormania.

Stephan, BrdingPrty, MarkyMark, Hypnotini, what say you?

So this coming Sunday, the 15th, is the third Sunday of the month. I was able to secure a table at Collectormania starting when they open at 1100. There is, of course, a Magic pre-release something or other going on that weekend (when are they NOT releasing new stuff for that game???), so they could only guarantee us one table.

Anyone interested in coming out and rolling dice? Dystopian, Firestorm, Halo (space or dirt), etc? I've got a new ocean mat from Fat Matz that I've been wanting to try...

Post up here if you can make it!

I should be good to go for this one. Interested in some Halo (either variety) or Firestorm.

I can be there at 1100 on Sunday unless something at work explodes.

I vote Halo Fleet Battles, but I will bring my Dirt Fight and Dystopian Wars as well.

I'm semi-committed to a STAW OP, Klingon Civil War Event 2.

If that changes, I'll be up.

Finally a day I don't work and will be able to make it. Can bring DW or fsa.

Alright, looks like we've got a few folks lined up! @Warhawk, great to hear that you're still around and still playing, would be cool to roll dice with you on Sunday.

It looks like we're breaking down to Halo and Dystopian Wars games. Due to the Magic event this weekend, they could not guarantee me two tables--that being said, I've never been at Collectormania during a Magic event where they actually needed any of the 4x6 tables. I propose we run Halo on the one table that we do have reserved (either Fleet Battles or Dirt Fight, or one right after the other, or whatever), and grab a second table IMMEDIATELY when the store opens for Dystopian Wars. I'll bring stuff for Fleet Battles, Dirt Fight, and Dystopian Wars, although my preference is DW. If we grab that second table early on, there's a good chance we'll get through the game before they need it for the Magic stuff (if they ever do actually need it). I'll also bring my space mat and my new ocean mat; I don't have a great mat for Dirt Fight yet.

In the interest of playing multiple games, I'm going to bring a 1000-point DW fleet, 1000-point fleets for Covenant and UNSC for Fleet Battles, and one battlegroup apiece for Covenant and UNSC for Dirt Fight (not sure of the point value yet for the ground force).

How does that sound to everyone??

I've got a commitment to Bolt Action at Gamers Haven on the 15th BUT, is anyone planning on Ghenghis Con next month?

It's looking likely my STAW will get cancelled, but still questionable for me to get north - forecast now shows a snow front coming in just in time for Sunday lunch. 3-5" of snow just about everywhere.
