Guys, I had a blast playing yesterday.  That was a great game.  Real nail-biter.  I'll post a battle report soon.

So, let's start thinking about our next meeting.  If possible, maybe we can try for a Saturday meetup--I know at least one person can't do Sundays. And if possible, we should probably try to check the venue's schedule so we don't end up in a room again with a bunch of Magic players.

October is going to be a screwy month for me, so I would rather hand the planning baton off to someone else.  My availability, as far as I know, is 18-19 and 25-26 October. If a different date works better for the group, then please game on without me.  I have no preference for venue.

Sunday's game was definitely a lot of fun and I can't wait to see your battle report (and pictures!).  For Oct, the 18th should work just fine for me.  I looked on the list of events at Collectormania and I'm not seeing anything listed for that Saturday yet.

We could change it up and do some DW in Oct, maybe bring my Martians out for a Mars Attacks Halloween theme day.

Damn, sounds like you guys had a great time, hope that wasn't all due to me NOT being there.  Can't wait to see pix and battle report.

(Shhhhh--wall of silence, people, wall of silence)

Um, no, Mark, in fact we were all remarking at how much we missed seeing you there... :D

The 18th should work well. i think a dystopian wars scenario would be good.

I'll try to make the 18th.  I'll have some family in town, therefore I'll need the break (if I can sneak out).

I'd be up for some anti-Martian action!

The Mt. Rushmore scene is my favorite, I think.

So, you'll let us know how many points to bring?

I inventoried my Martians and I can easily field 2000 pts.  I posted to the League of Extraordinary Gamers FB page since I'm pretty sure one of them has Martians too.  We can play a sea battle, but the Martian models make more sense on land.  I have a full Prussian armored army plus two Metzgers I could loan someone and I've got a to of buildings and such.  Let me know what you guys think.

I have the land forces FSA and RoF starter box. But I also have probably close to 1,000 points of FSA aerial models, and close to that in French aerial models.  I'd be fine playing a land game, but I'd probably just supply the air force. I assume we would all be working together to kill the Martians?

I've got (rather large) land forces for all core factions (not painted or assembled of course).  Also two of the Martian sets if we need more of them out there.
