I'm up for whatever. Quickdraw, if you want to take the lead on it then that's fine with me.

I posted my scenario over in the general DW forum page. Here is the link for those of us that can't be bothered with a bunch of clicks.

Let me know what you think about it In that topic and tell me if you want to play it in this one.
We have four DW players this month? Myself, Landlubber, Captainrockman, and Warhawk?

I think it sounds great. I can bring some of my islands, or we can throw in some of Collectormania's "Skull Islands" because I know Captain Rockman LOVES those. :)

So are you thinking a two-on-two game? Do we want to divide up along GC/IB lines? If so, I can contribute FSA and/or Royal Aussies on the GC side, or French and/or Chinese on the IB side.

Yeah. I think we can split two on two. I'm thinking maybe 1600 or 1800 points? 800 or 900 for each player.
I can contribute Russians or Australians for the GC or French for the IB (I still haven't gotten the fleet box of Ottomans and a dreadnaught is unnecessary at this size).

I can put in RC or PLC for the GC, or EBS (maybe CF) on the IB side.

I could go either way. I think Warhawk predominately plays CoA. But, that may be different now. I suppose someone's Aussies could side with CoA.

By the book, I don't think Royal Australians can side with CoA. I think Free Australians can. Mine are set up as Royal Aussies. If all Warhawk has is CoA, that's fine, we'll call it an "alliance of convenience". Does anyone have a preference for what faction they play? At that point level, I might even be able to run a pure Royal Aussie force, but I'll have to look at the numbers later. Which actually sounds kind of fun, now that I think about it, as I haven't really used those models yet.

Point size sounds good, I wouldn't go over 900 or it might take too long to knock out three turns. Can we run dual activations? As in, players in opposite corners activate simultaneously? That might help move it along.

I will also bring my cheapo "ocean surface". We'll probably want to get started as soon as possible; they open at 1100.

Let's stick to 800 points per player. We can try to get started when they open. Landlubber if you can bring your islands that would help, the idea is to have a fairly cluttered center line.
I will bring a small fleet of each and will jump on with whoever else. The COA can side with either group like Landlubber said.
I'll make sure to bring a scenario sheet for us to reference when we play.

I'm thinking that I will bring Russians, possibly with some PLC support.

I'm happy to play with anyone.

I think you might be the first and only player in our group to get the KoB.

Quickdraw, got it, I'll bring my islands as well--I have 4-5 that we can use.

Russians/PLC and KoB are all Grand Coalition, right? I can't look that up from work...if that's the case, Quickdraw and I could team up with his French and my Chinese. 800 points might be too low of a point level for me to get The Dragon on the board, I think. I'll have to look at the stats and rules tonight.

That would be quite a smorgasbord of factions...Russians/PLC, Brits, French, and Chinese!

I think it is just standard percentages. But, the scenario Quickdraw shared requires that 50% of the MFV and all large/massives be in the flank.

I was thinking that we follow standard force organization, without strategic forces. With the difference, like Captainrockman noted, as close as possible to 50% (so 400 points) of the MFV including all large/massive squadrons should be kept in reserve.

I think my participation tomorrow is going to be solely based on the weather. So everyone should prepare and bring fleets for a 3 player game just in case.
