Gawd...  I hope I can prime mine 1/100th as good as you paint yours.  Envious...

Beautiful. Mine are "game ready" and that is about it.
Does anyone actually use these things in a game?

Very nice, the Invaders look really cool!
I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

If you mean the Invaders, yes, Stephan ran a big land/sea/air battle against in the invaders a few years ago at a Con.  My first time seeing the game.  So I guess I can blame him for being my resin addiction enabler.

Really like the look of the invaders.  Stephan has offered to break them out for a game sometime, but he also says they're well-nigh impossible to beat.

Great couch! I mean minis ;D One of the best parts to DW are seeing the superb paint jobs. Great stuff!!

In a non-competitive game, theses would be fun to check out. I think they were created more for this type of play. One off Mars Attacks stories lol

Thanks for all the comments.  I haven't brought the Invaders out since they re-did the list for V2, but I expect they'll still be nasty.  Per Spartan, they aren't "canon" for DW, but can be used with all players' agreement.  The scenario was War of the Worlds (duh), Battle for Hamburg.  Here's a couple pics.  And yes, I know there's no Eiffel tower in Hamburg......(and yes, it is to scale).

First, great looking fleet, and that looks like it was a great battle! You will have to put together a more detailed account sometime ;).

Ruckdog,

I'm afraid I was strapped just herding cats (gamers) during that War of the Worlds scenario, so no detailed account.  With the new V2 rules for Invaders out and a more experienced gamer group here, I'm thinking of bringing the scenario back out at our February con and will make a point of taking notes throughout.

No worries! I understand how that goes. When you get the scenario all polished up, I'd love to get it posted on the blog for folks to enjoy, if you are agreeable.
