Have you done a tutorial for your bases? If so, please link...If not, Please do! :)

The bases are the Omni Stand system from Corsec Engineering. I'll put a quick tutorial together for you if you like, but they are pretty straight forward ;).

Thanks for all the compliments! The freehand crest was my attempt to emulate the crest of USS RANGER, CV-61.

Okay! The Cruisers and Escorts are complete. Presenting Escort Squadron 824, the "Night Watchers," consisting of 6 Guardian-class escorts:

Next up is Cruiser Squadron (CruRon) 78, consisting of the Teuton-class Cruisers Baltimore, Memphis, and Honolulu:

I love how your fleet has shaped up. I'm a big fan of the squadron markings, numbers, and such and yours look fantastic.
I don't make the rules, I just think them up and write them down.

Agreed. Would love to see the whole fleet together!

Thanks for the compliments! I've been striving to keep a consistent theme and pattern with the markings on this fleet; Ive got a whole backstory behind it inside my head.

Agreed. Would love to see the whole fleet together!

I will do that once I get the BB and Dread I'm working on done. Wont be much longer!

At long last, my BB and Dread are complete! Presenting the MONTANA (DN-21):

And the battleship MAINE (BB-40)

And finally, here is the much-requested group shot of the whole fleet:

I've put more pictures on the blog if you are interested!

Killer brushwork on that "caution tape" along the side of your Dreadnaught and the top of the Apollo.

Thanks! I used 0.5mm masking tape to achieve that effect.

That's genius. I'll have to give that a try. I've thought about cutting pieces but I could never get the angle or the width correct.

Agreed. I assume that's where the nukes are launched from?  ;D

Yep! That was the idea. When I first sat down to paint my Mk I models back in 2009, I assumed that the little recessed areas in the middle of the Terran ships were vertical launch tubes of some sort. That's when the caution stripes idea occurred to me!

The tape is pre-cut to the .5mm width, so all I had to do was worry about the length. This was the source I used for it:

Wow, I love your big boys here. Fantastic work on all of the little details! Saw your stuff in the Gothicomp too, thumbs up.
