Yes, the starter box is pretty hefty. I wonder if the Halo models will be slightly cheaper since they're made of plastic? In the world of model building, resin kits seem to usually be more expensive than plastic kits. But that might also have to do with number of kits produced; Revell puts out more kits than, say, JT Graphics. I doubt Spartan will be making these models in the kind of volume needed to make the plastic cheaper.
